Data and use

Cookies and local storage: necessary storage remembers your privacy choice. Only with separate consent do we store visit and campaign data for analytics and advertising identifiers for marketing. Google Analytics is intended for analytics; Google Ads and Meta for advertising measurement. External measurement takes place only with the relevant consent. Rejecting does not block signup. You can withdraw optional consent at any time using Cookie preferences at the bottom of each page.

Retention and sharing

Your privacy choice is retained for 180 days. Permitted browser attribution data is retained for up to 30 days from its original capture. On signup, permitted attribution data may be retained on the server for up to 90 days from that capture. Withdrawal removes the corresponding optional browser data and stops new optional measurement. These are not general retention periods for third-party cookies.

Storage on this website: mc.platform.marketing.consent.v2 retains your choice in local storage for 180 days. mc.platform.marketing.capture.v2 retains permitted campaign data, visited paths, referring hostnames and analytics or advertising identifiers for up to 30 days from original capture. Analytics and marketing consent are separate. During a permitted signup handoff, one-use data is processed for up to 120 seconds through Upstash in Frankfurt; the secure cookies __Host-mc_platform_handoff_binding and __Host-mc_platform_handoff_pending support this transfer on admin.microcart.io. Permitted server attribution is retained for up to 90 days from capture.

Once activated and only with the relevant consent, Google Analytics may receive visit and campaign data, Google Ads click identifiers and conversion data, and Meta available advertising identifiers and registration, trial or subscription events through the Conversions API. This data may include timestamps and, for paid conversions, value and currency. With marketing consent, fbp (a random browser identifier) and, for a valid advertising click, fbc are kept locally within the same 30-day period. This website code does not load Meta Pixel or itself set _fbp or _fbc cookies. Google documents _ga and _ga_<container-id> for Google Analytics with a default lifetime of two years, which may renew on use; configured Google settings may change this. These provider lifetimes are separate from the 30-day limit for our own local storage.

Google and Meta may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Google describes the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses among its transfer mechanisms.
