Product feeds, a coming-soon page and consistent theme content
Your Google and Meta product feeds work again
The product feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager could not be fetched: every feed URL answered "not found", and Sales channels showed the URL on a placeholder address (your-store.microcart.io) instead of your own. Sales channels › Google and › Meta now show each feed URL, including the per-market ones, on your store's own address, and those URLs return your products. Copy the URL again and paste it into Merchant Center or Commerce Manager in place of the old one. Every product in the feed now links to your own store. While your store is password protected or paused, the feed stays unavailable, so your catalogue is not published before you open.
A coming-soon page while your store is password protected
While your store is password protected, visitors now see a coming-soon page in your theme's own look: your logo or store name, "Opening soon", your message, and a field to leave their email so you can let them know when you open. Signups land in your newsletter subscribers. The password field sits behind "Enter using password" for the people you gave it to. Search engines are kept out until you go public: robots.txt closes the store, the sitemap is empty, and every page is marked noindex, also for visitors who entered the password.
Publishing a development theme keeps your menus
Menus, the announcement bar, footer columns, social links and USP texts belong to your store, not to a theme. A development theme now shows and edits the same content as your live store, and publishing it no longer brings back the copy from the moment you duplicated the theme. A menu you change on the live store while you work on a development theme stays after you publish. The theme brings its own colours and header and footer layout. Restoring an earlier published version also keeps your current menus.
Your theme's product card, in every product list
Search results now show products with your theme's own product card, the same card as on your collection pages, instead of a generic one. On the MisterDesign and Van Tilburg themes this also applies to the featured products section on your homepage. Themes can now restyle the product card and the collection filters completely, so a theme designer can match your shop's look without workarounds. Collection pages themselves look exactly as before.
