Theme editor: see the theme's default image, and new controls
An image setting in the theme editor now shows the photo the theme uses by default, marked "Theme default". Choose your own image any time; "Reset to default" brings the theme's photo back. Themes such as Meridian also get an image picker for slides, images and logos, a code box for custom HTML, a link check for URL settings, videos from your media library, and your own menus in the menu picker.
Themes start with real photos
Every bundled theme now opens with its own photography instead of grey placeholder blocks or your store name in large letters. A new store, or a theme you preview, shows a finished hero and, where the theme has one, a photo category row. Pages you have already saved in the theme editor stay exactly as they are. The photos are licence-free; replace them with your own in the theme editor.
